Me sunburn soggy playdough

Well I'm happy it's over. Four parties in four days....ah, even my college self would be a bit worn out. I sit here tonight like a soggy lump of play dough. More accurately, a sunburned soggy lump of play dough. To fill you in on my escapades...well, maybe there weren't really escapades but more like sitting around eating, drinking, playing Wii, drinking, corralling children, swimming, eating, blah, blah...the same old Memorial day nonsense.

Actually, it was a good time. I really have no complaints...ah, except for the sunburn and "soggy" feeling...a trip to the bathroom tomorrow will fix that right up. Oops, TMI, I know.

Anywho (and sorry to all those that hate the word, "anywho" but I watch Scrubs incessantly so sue me) we started off our weekend Friday night with our favorite neighbors. No, they are not snotballs like the rest of them, but the real down to earth kind. They have a few kids so our little ones were highly entertained as well. We drank some interesting Belgium beers and played Wii. American Idol rocks. And OMG, I only wish I could play the video of hubs singing, "Knockin on Heaven's Door." It was priceless people...drunk man singing this = funny!

We rolled into Saturday with a trip to a local carnival to meet up with my playgroup girlfriends and their hubs; lil man had a blast on all the rickety rides mostly held together with tape and shoe goo. The hubs said he thought he felt a few bolts pop out while they were riding. No problem, the carni just tapped them back in. BTW, have you ever took a few side stares at these fellas that run the carnivals? Scary...

Sunday was a family graduation party. Probably would have been nothing special if I hadn't partaked in a few apple martinis with my cool neighbor beforehand. I don't know if anyone wondered why I was so happy.

Today was a nice outdoor BBQ at my cousin's, complete with lots of sun and swimming, hence sunburn all over. I must have slathered the kids three times with lotion but did I think to put some on myself? Nope. Duh...me, idiot.

So I sit here, wondering why the "f" I am not sleeping because even the friggin computer is hinting it.... or maybe there is an internal problem causing the monitor light to change brightness all by itself. Huh, there it goes again, brighter....then dimmer, brighter then dimmer. Okay, totally creeping me out so TTFN (A term that always reminds me of the movie, "Witchboard" and THAT, really creeps me out). Okay, going now, going to sleep...
